The mission of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church is to be disciples of Jesus the Christ by serving individuals, communities and the world as the representative, loving presence of God and as witnesses to God’s salvation and grace.

Phillips CME Hartford lives out that mission by providing PEACE to our community as we EXPAND the KINGDOM of GOD through discipling the community with the Gospel of Jesus, building healthy relationships amongst ourselves as believers, expressing our thankfulness to God through biblically based stewardship and promoting church leaders who exemplify Christian values. We believe that these are the necessary characteristics of a church that Seeks the peace and serves the kingdom.
